华爱融合学院新学年的高中部家委会第一次会议就在这样轻松愉快的氛围中展开了。
 
家校共育一直是HPA非常重视的一环,成立家委会,可以加强家校沟通与合作,建立和美的家校育人环境,充分发挥家长在学校和孩子之间的桥梁纽带、教育示范和支持协助作用。
 
大家怀着对孩子成长相同的殷切期望与无私关怀,如约而至,共赴这场温暖的关爱之约。

“Joy has increased,” “My child is now self-motivated in learning,” “They’ve developed a passion for sports”—parents eagerly exchanged words of their children’s transformations and progress, their faces radiating undeniable delight.
 
The first meeting of HPA High School Parent Committee of the new academic year was held in such a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
 
At HPA, home-school collaboration is a cornerstone of our educational philosophy. The creation of the Parent Committee enhances communication and cooperation between families and the school, fostering a nurturing educational environment. It empowers parents to serve as vital links, educational role models, and sources of support for both the school and their children.
 
United by shared aspirations and selfless care for their children’s growth, parents gathered to partake in this heartwarming occasion.

家委们的自我介绍,绝不仅仅是一场简单的亮相,而是心灵与心灵之间真挚的交汇与共鸣。
 

 

“我很感谢班主任Amy老师,她关注学生的情绪而不是成绩,脱离刷题考试的模式后,孩子的优势项终于能发挥出来;从总是情绪崩溃、家庭关系剑拔弩张,到现在逐渐变得开朗、能自觉学习,这一切都是HPA给我孩子带来的变化。”

HPA执行校长胡滨从学校的发展规划、课程建设以及成绩成果等方面向家委们作了汇报。
 
他说道:家委会作为社群能让大家更真实地感受学校的生活,这种做法更国际化更民主,我们相互了解诉求达成平衡,也许效率不是最高的,但却是最健康的模式。
家长们的反馈能让校领导及时了解被忽略的各项细节,大家坦诚布公地讨论学校的不足之处,这样才能让学校办得更长远。
 
 
德育部、升学部和教学部负责人依次向家委们汇报新学年作出的各项调整,大家共同探讨可行性和具体策略的实施办法。针对家长们提出的问题,HPA行政校长符金华依次作出解答,消解了信息差,收获了家长们的一致认同。
 

 
 
 
为促进家校共育,本学期学校还将组织两次家长课堂专题讲座分享。Crystal妈妈作为主要策划和负责人提出了关于“情绪、陪伴、沟通”为核心的议题。
 
她说:“教育孩子是一场旷日持久战,千万不能一个人陷入内耗和自我否定,家长们要相互鼓励相互抱团。
 
随后大家确定了——11月22日,1月10日,周五下午14:00-16:00,开展名为“青少年情绪“阴晴不定”,父母如何接?”“掌握4点,不与”叛逆”正面交锋”两个主题的家长课堂专题讲座,届时欢迎家长朋友们到校参加。

HPA Executive Principal Mr.Sean presented a report to the Parent Committee on the school's development plans, curriculum construction, and achievements. He stated, “The Parent Committee, as a community, allows everyone to experience school life more authentically. This approach is more international and democratic; we understand each other’s needs and find balance. While it may not be the most efficient, it is the healthiest model. Parents' feedback enables school leadership to identify overlooked details. Open discussions about the school's shortcomings are essential for long-term development.
 
The heads of the Moral Education, College Counseling, and Academic Departments subsequently shared various adjustments made for the new academic year, engaging the committee in discussions about feasibility and implementation strategies. Addressing the questions raised by parents, HPA Administrative Principal Mr.Frank provided clarifications, bridging the information gap and garnering unanimous agreement from the parents.
 

 

To further promote home-school collaboration, the school will organize two parent workshops this semester. As the main planner and coordinator, Crystal's mom, proposed topics centered on “Emotions, Support, and Communication.” She emphasized, “Educating children is a long-term battle; we must avoid falling into internal conflict and self-doubt. Parents need to encourage and support one another.
 
The committee agreed to hold two themed lectures on November 22nd and January 10th, from 14:00 to 16:00, titled “Navigating the Turbulent Emotions of Adolescents: How Can Parents Respond?” and “Four Key Points to Avoid Confrontation with Rebellion.” Parents are warmly invited to participate.

This letter not only represents honor but also carries significant responsibility and mission, reflecting the profound expectations and steadfast commitment of both the school and parents in nurturing students' futures.
