TISD, founded in 1980, is one of Kansas’s three Blue Ribbon Schools and a prominent institution in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It boasts a 100% college acceptance rate, with graduates attending top 50 universities across the United States. Over 15% of its students earn National Merit Scholarships annually, significantly above the national average of 1%. For four consecutive years, TISD has had the highest state selection rate in Kansas.
