2024年秋期的品格塑造之旅注定是一场难忘的旅程，悠久的历史文化与前沿的智能科技碰撞，硬核知识与品格情怀以充满创意和趣味的形式深植同学们的心中。

探访“智造”领航者
宁德时代与宜宾智轨
第一站宁德时代，让同学们立刻感受到了科技的脉动与未来的希望。
新一轮的科技革命方兴未艾，传统能源向新能源的转型可谓大势所趋。在这家全球领先的动力电池制造企业，同学们与讲解老师积极探讨电池的研发与应用，再到新型储能、氢能技术、晶硅光伏……
同学们感叹于新能源崛起背后澎湃的创新动力，深刻体会到科学技术如何推动着社会变革。
接着，我们走访了宜宾智轨，体验了智能交通的魅力。乘坐着灵活便捷的智轨列车，同学们领略到了城市发展的新理念。
每一次纵横交错的轨道交通中穿越都仿佛是与未来的对话，让他们在体验中思考，如何在现代化进程中更好地拥有创新的核心竞争力。

游览巨变年代的中国名片
万里长江第一镇李庄
当夜幕降临时，同学们来到了万里长江第一镇——李庄。
这座古镇作为国家级历史文物保护单位，“九宫十八庙”尽显古建筑千年芳华；在战争年代中央研究院、中博院、中国营造学社、同济大学、北大文科研究所等云集于此，以文化抗战知识报国名垂青史。
游览中国李庄文化抗战博物馆，从“一个播撒红色火种的文化古镇”、“一群耕耘中华文化的大师学者”、“一方胸怀家国大义的黎民百姓”三个维度，同学们见证了李庄文化抗战的辉煌历史。
薪火相传，少年壮志，“我对我们的文化有了全新的认识”、“我为我们的历史感到深深的骄傲”，同学们发自内心的感叹，成长就在不知不觉中发生了。

体验国潮剧本杀
品华夏盛世千年
还有什么比游戏更有趣的学习方式？换上古装汉服，让我们走进了国潮剧本杀的世界。
融合陆游文化、街子古镇千年历史文化、汉服文化、武侠文化和当地特有非遗文化为一体，打造出“国潮、国学、国风、研学”的“沉浸式剧本游”项目，
这一场现代与传统交织的沉浸式体验，让同学们在休闲娱乐的同时，感受中国传统文化和国学文化的博大精深；在悬疑与解谜中，感受到文化的厚重与智慧的碰撞。
故事情节的跌宕起伏，角色的深入体验，让每一位参与者不仅仅是在娱乐，更是在思考着人与历史、文化的关系，感悟着自身的定位与责任。
通过这一系列活动，让同学们在实践中拓宽了视野，增强了对社会与文化的认知。我们不再满足于书本上的知识，而是通过亲身的体验，深化了对学习的理解和热爱。这种探索精神与创新意识，是国际教育的核心所在。
在这次品格塑造之旅，知识不再是单纯的积累，而是通过生动的体验与深刻的反思，融入了每位同学的心灵深处。

Embarking on a journey of intellectual awakening and practical engagement.
Beyond academic pursuits, our aim is to encourage students to step outside the classroom and experience the richness of life firsthand. After all, "knowledge acquired from books is ultimately superficial; true understanding comes through practice."
The character-building journey of Fall 2024 promises to be an unforgettable experience, where ancient cultural legacies collide with cutting-edge technology, embedding essential values and knowledge within students through creative and engaging formats.
Visiting Leaders in Innovation: CATL and Yibin Smart Rail Technology
Our first stop, CATL, immediately immersed students in the pulse of technology and the hope for the future. The ongoing technological revolution highlights the inevitable shift from traditional to renewable energy. At this global leader in battery manufacturing, students actively engaged with educators in discussions about battery research and applications, alongside emerging technologies in energy storage, hydrogen, and photovoltaic systems. They were struck by the innovative forces propelling the rise of renewable energy and gained a profound understanding of how science and technology drive societal change.
Next, we visited Yibin Smart Rail, where students experienced the allure of intelligent transportation. Riding the Smart Rail, they embraced new urban development concepts. Each intersection of railways felt like a dialogue with the future, prompting them to reflect on how to cultivate core competitive advantages in an era of modernization.
Evening Exploration of China’s Historic Jewel: Lizhuang Town
As night fell, we arrived at Lizhuang, the first town along the Yangtze River.
This ancient town, a national historical relic, showcases the enduring beauty of traditional architecture. During wartime, it was a hub for prominent institutions such as Academia Sinica, China Academy of Building Research, Society of Chinese Architecture, Tongji University, Peking University Institute of Humanities, standing as a testament to cultural resilience against adversity.
Visiting the Lizhuang Cultural Anti-Japanese War Museum, students explored the town's legacy from three perspectives: a bastion of cultural heritage, a gathering of eminent scholars, and a community devoted to national ideals.
Their heartfelt reflections, "I have gained a new understanding of our culture," and "I feel immense pride in our history," reveal a profound growth that occurs subtly yet significantly.
Engaging in the Immersive World of Chinese Scripted Murder Mysteries
What could be a more engaging learning method than through play game? Dressed in traditional Han attire, we delved into the realm of contemporary Chinese scripted murder mysteries.
This immersive project fuses elements of land exploration culture, the thousand-year history of the ancient town, Han clothing, martial arts, and local intangible cultural heritage, creating an experience that embodies "national trends, classical learning, and cultural immersion."
This blend of modernity and tradition allows students to appreciate the profundity of Chinese culture while engaging in intrigue and puzzle-solving, fostering a deeper connection to history and their own roles within it.
Through these activities, students broadened their horizons and enhanced their understanding of society and culture. We are no longer satisfied with mere textbook knowledge; instead, our firsthand experiences deepen our appreciation for learning. This spirit of exploration and innovation lies at the heart of international education.
In this journey of character development, knowledge transcends mere accumulation, embedding itself deeply within each student through vivid experiences and thoughtful reflection.
