自2024年秋季起，华爱融合学院（HPA）将推出沉淀许久的A-Level项目，并逐渐扩大规模，使之成为与AP平行的学部。

HPA一直以来以纯正北美课程体系为方向，这次为何要在高中阶段增设A-Level项目课程？

多年以来，HPA致力为孩子们提供最专业与纯正的国际化课程，在北美课程体系多年以来受到大家认可与肯定的同时，我们观察到A-Level课程以其独特的教学理念和评估机制，切实契合了一部分高中学生学术发展的需求与未来升学的规划。鉴于此，HPA增设A-Level项目，此举旨在深度融合全球主流学术体系的精髓与HPA独特的教学实践，为每一位踏入HPA校园的学生铺就一条通往卓越未来的坚实道路。

Starting in the fall of 2024, Huaai Preparatory Academy (HPA) will launch its highly anticipated A-Level program, expanding its offerings alongside the existing AP division.

HPA has traditionally focused on a purely North American curriculum. So, why introduce an A-Level program at the high school level now?

For many years, HPA has been committed to delivering a professional and authentic international curriculum. While our North American curriculum has been widely recognized and valued, we have observed that the A-Level curriculum, with its unique teaching philosophy and assessment methods, aligns well with the academic and future educational needs of some Chinese high school students. Therefore, HPA is excited to introduce the A-Level program. This initiative aims to integrate global mainstream academic systems with HPA's unique teaching practices, creating a solid foundation for every student's future success.

What will be unique about HPA's A-Level program?

At HPA, we will blend our distinctive North American campus culture with the A-Level curriculum, incorporating a holistic education philosophy that encourages free exploration and ignites interest. This approach will offer students a broader range of course options and campus life experiences. Hua Ai Integration Academy (HPA) has been accredited by numerous international and domestic authoritative organizations, allowing children to enjoy high-quality overseas educational resources without leaving the country. Million Scholarship Program

HPA has established a Million Scholarship Program, which includes scholarships for new students, current students, and those advancing to higher education. This program is open to outstanding students from around the world.

Enrollment Scholarships:

This scholarship rewards students with exceptional entrance exam results and middle school exam scores. Outstanding candidates may apply for a full scholarship.

Current Student Scholarship:

This scholarship motivates students who excel during their time at the school. It considers academic achievements, competition awards, special talents, and good character. Each year, over 50 students benefit from this scholarship.

Enrollment Scholarship:

This scholarship encourages students to pursue higher academic studies. It includes up to 300,000 RMB for those accepted into Ivy League schools and internationally renowned universities.

Enrollment Achievements

Graduates from Huai Ai Integration Academy (HPA) have achieved a 100% acceptance rate into world-renowned universities. Of these graduates, 98% were accepted into the top 100 universities in the United States, 60% into the top 50, 100% into the top 30 universities in the United Kingdom, 90% into the top 10 medical and doctoral universities in Canada, and 100% into the Group of Eight universities in Australia.

一. A-Level 四年制规划课程

I. 招收人群：

· 国际化教育8年级升入9年级，且主要意向为英联邦教育体制（英国、澳洲、新西兰、中国香港等）留学方向的学生

· 结束国内中考，希望接受国际化教育，意向将来在英语国家或其他国际认可的大学继续深造的学生

· 尚未完成 IGCSE 课程，旨在继续夯实课程基础的学生

（IGCSE，即国际普通中等教育证书。是由剑桥大学国际考试委员会和其他考试机构 (如 Pearson Edexcel) 提供的一个国际认可的中等教育课程和考试体系，是为期两年的中等教育课程，通常在9年级和10年级教授。完成IGCSE课程并通过考试后，学生可以选择继续攻读A-Level课程。）

II. 课程内容：

四年制课程涵盖了广泛的学科，包括数学、科学（如物理、化学、生物）、语言、艺体选修等，并包含英语强化雅思培训，与美高学生共享选修课，独立成班。学生可以根据自己的兴趣和未来的学术目标选择不同的科目。

III. 四年制A-Level课程优势：

A-Level课程在全球范围内被广泛认可。许多顶尖大学，如剑桥大学、牛津大学、哈佛大学和麻省理工学院，都接受A-Level成绩作为入学标准。优秀的A-Level成绩可以帮助学生在申请大学时占据优势，甚至有机会获得奖学金。

二. A-Level 两年制规划课程

I. 招收人群：

· 已经完成国内或国际9年级课程，且成绩较为优异、意向将来在英语国家或其他国际认可的大学继续深造的学生

· 已经在其他学校考出IG成绩的学生

A-Level Four-Year Program

I. Target Students:

- Internationalized education for 8th to 9th grade students whose main intention is to study in the Commonwealth education system (UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, etc.).

- Students who have completed the Chinese High School Entrance Examination (Zhongkao) and wish to pursue international education, aiming to continue their studies at universities in English-speaking countries or other internationally recognized universities.

- Students who have not yet completed the IGCSE course and aim to solidify their foundational knowledge.

II. Course content:

The four-year program covers a wide range of subjects, including math, science (e.g., physics, chemistry, biology), languages, and arts and sports electives, and includes intensive IELTS training in English, with electives shared with U.S. high school students in separate classes. Students can choose different subjects according to their interests and future academic goals.

III. Advantages of the four-year A-Level program:

The A-Level curriculum is widely recognized worldwide. Many top universities, such as Cambridge University, Oxford University, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), accept A-Level results as admission criteria. Excellent A-Level results can help students gain an advantage when applying to universities and even have a chance to win scholarships.

The four-year curriculum planned by HPA for students has the articulation, transition and preparation from IG to A-Level, so that students can gradually adapt to the internationalized education model and assessment methods, and help students prepare for higher level study in terms of academic knowledge and study skills.

A-Level Two-Year Program

I. Target Students:

- Students who have completed Year 10 and whose main intention is to study in a Commonwealth education system (UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, etc.).

- Students who have completed Year 9 in their home country or internationally with good grades and intend to continue their studies in an English-speaking country or at an internationally recognized university.

- Students who have already achieved IG results in other schools.

II. Course content:

The two-year program covers a wide range of subjects, including math, science (e.g., physics, chemistry, biology), languages, economics, arts and sports, and includes intensive IELTS training in English, with electives shared with U.S. high school students in separate classes. Students can choose different subjects according to their interests and future academic goals.

III. Advantages of the two-year A-Level program:

Academic depth: The A-Level curriculum is in-depth and helps students lay a solid foundation for university-level studies.

Freedom of choice: Students have a high degree of freedom to choose subjects according to their own interests and future career plans.
